Stephen Bent (Richard Dix) is building a railroad west. Freight line owner Jeptha Marr, sees the railroad as a threat to his business and he'll do anything to stop it. Then Marr's daughter Vinnie (Jane Wyatt) falls for Bent and things get a bit more complicated.
Trivia: Lee J. Cobb plays Jane Wyatt's father despite both of them being 31 years old at the time this movie was made. Jane Wyatt is remembered for her starring role in the classic 1950s TV series Father Knows Best. Director Lesley Selander is generally considered the most prolific director of Western feature films of all time, having directed at least 107 during his career.
