The doctor travels to San Francisco for a medical convention, but after a patient he treats dies under suspicious circumstances, Dr. Baxter is accused of murder.

Trivia: Actor Peter Hansen is best known for his role as Lee Baldwin on the soap opera General Hospital from 1965 to 2004. He won an Emmy for this role in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category in 1979. Kasey Rogers (Eva Scott), credited in this episode under the name Laura Elliott, went on to star in the 1960s hit TV series Payton Place and Bewitched. She also published a cookbook in 1996, The Official Bewitched Cookbook: Magic in the Kitchen.
